Telecommunications and IoT Expertise: Dr. Mazlan’s career spanned various leadership roles in the telecom sector, including his time at CELCOM Axiata and MIMOS Berhad, where he led the Wireless Communications Cluster. His deep-rooted experience in the telecom industry gave him a solid foundation in understanding the potential of IoT.
REDtone IoT Experience: As the CEO of REDtone IoT, he established a subsidiary focused on IoT solutions. This role allowed him to explore the IoT landscape more thoroughly, identifying gaps and opportunities in the market.
Global Recognition and Thought Leadership: His recognition as a global thought leader in IoT, evident from accolades like Onalytica’s “Who’s Who in IoT” and the “Most Impactful Smart Cities Leaders” award, fueled his ambition to leverage his knowledge and network to create impactful IoT solutions.
