A short poem

Write when you feel it,
When ideas surge and swirl.
Don’t put off the moment,
Let your thoughts unfurl.
Write in your style,
Be it scribbled or pristine.
Your words hold value,
Make sure they’re seen.
Write if you’re compelled,
Or pause when life’s too much.
Flow with your emotions,
Let them be your crutch.
Write what rings true to you,
Stand apart from the throng.
Pour out your heart on paper,
And let your words be strong.
Don’t wait for perfection,
The ‘right time’ doesn’t exist.
Write amidst chaos or calm,
Let misty doubts be dismissed.
Write with joy, write with pain,
Capture shades of your heart.
In the silence of the night,
Or morning’s fresh start.
Write to express, not to impress,
Share the beats of your core.
Each sentence a breath,
Each paragraph an open door.
Write because you must,
Because your heart knows no bounds.
In the sea of many,
Let your unique voice resound.
Write to create worlds,
Or to navigate your own.
Through the maze of thoughts,
Where seeds of insight are sown.
Write to laugh, write to cry,
Each emotion a hue.
Paint with your words,
Show the world your view.
Write for the past, whisper to the future,
Hold conversations with the soul.
Let each word heal, each phrase nurture,
In every story, play your role.
Write because it matters,
To you more than anyone else.
Let your innermost whispers,
Jump right off the shelf.
Write from the heart, unabashed,
Fueled by passion, untamed and raw.
In the quiet or the chaos,
Let writing be your law.
