POEM OF HOPE
Rising Again

In the twilight of my years, I dared to dream,
A venture born from passion’s gleam.
With pockets light, but heart so bold,
I stepped into a business world untold.
Experience scant, but vision clear,
Building IoT for elders dear.
Bootstrapping from my savings slight,
Each day a battle, every night a fight.
Then came the storm, unseen, untamed,
A virus cruel that shook the frame.
Covid’s wrath brought plans to dust,
Dreams on hold, survive we must.

Staff stood strong, though pay was thin,
Sacrifices made, from within.
Together we faced the darkest nights,
In unity, we found our lights.
Efforts seemed to waste away,
As months turned bleak, then years to gray.
Yet from the ashes, hope arose,
In every challenge, we found new prose.
A product pivot, market’s turn,
Lessons hard, from losses learn.
Customers wary, traction slow,
Yet through it all, we let them know.

Our IoT solutions, we still believe,
With every pitch, new dreams we weave.
Investors’ doors often closed,
But perseverance never froze.
Slowly, traction’s gentle tread,
Opportunities where once we bled.
New strategies, markets wide,
Hopes rekindled, spirits tied.
Overseas, we seek new shores,
In foreign lands, to open doors.
Partnerships to build anew,
Dreams of gold, skies of blue.

Each day a climb, each step unsure,
Yet through it all, our hearts endure.
Survival’s song, we hum and sing,
In every challenge, hope we bring.
Years may pass, the future dim,
Yet faith remains, in every limb.
For in this struggle, strength is found,
With every setback, we rebound.
As entrepreneurs, our path is tough,
But grit and grace will be enough.
For dreams deferred, but never lost,
We strive, we rise, despite the cost.

Hope, a beacon in the night,
Guides us through, to morning light.
With faith and fire, we forge ahead,
Toward brighter days, where dreams are fed.
And as we stand, at journey’s end,
With lessons learned and hearts to mend.
We’ll look back on the struggles faced,
And see them as the steps we traced.
